Kewaskum, located 45 miles north of Milwaukee and 20 miles south of Fond du Lac on Highway 45, is known as the "Gateway" to the Northern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. The area offers camping, swimming, golfing, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, downhill and cross country skiing and several Ice Age hiking trails.

Kewaskum Area Attractions
Below are some of the local attractions in the Kewaskum area. All the lakes listed are within easy driving distance of Kewaskum. The primary fish species in these lakes include largemouth bass, bluegill, crappies, and northern pike. Ice Age Trails
Ice Age Trail
One of only eleven national scenic trails in the United States, the Ice Age Trail is a thousand-mile walking/hiking trail located in and unique to Wisconsin.  As you travel the trail you will find many of the states most beautiful natural sites highlighted.  It has been featured in National Geographic and Backpacker magazines.
